Blog excerpt from August 9th
Yesterday was a full day... and I fully enjoyed it!
In the morning, a few of us girls went to the hospital to visit.  One of the girls from the support team here at the care point, wasn't doing so well and so she checked herself into the hospital.
When I first stepped foot into her room, it hit me.  This was the first time I had been in a hospital room since my Mom passed away.  Seeing this girl lying there, weak and with her IV, I couldn't help but have some flashbacks.
Somehow, I was at peace.  I remembered holding my Mother's hand and just talking to her.  Or the time I just curled up with her in her hospital bed and fell asleep in her arms for the last time.
This hospital is where I needed to be.  God reminded me that He was there through those hard times for me and now He was here, in Swaziland, in Nsoko.  He is here giving His children the peace and comfort they need.
