I don’t think I can explain all that truly happened the whole time.  We did A LOT!  But I can tell you that it was an AMAZING 10 days!  I was stretched in every way and am feeling so good!  I was stretched mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually!

We had seminars that just stirred up my soul.  I learned so much about God, The Holy Spirit and myself!  We also did a few recreation activities that I never saw myself doing!  We had to cross a beam (which wasn’t so bad) then we had to climb a rope wall (which terrified me).  I saw the rope wall and was dreading the day we had to climb it but when the opportunity came, I decided I would try it.  I grabbed the ledge then went into panic mode!  My legs began to shake uncontrollably and I began to cry!  But Benny V. came up behind me to support me and Noah climbed the top to help me as well.  The whole team was encouraging and I finally made it to the top!  They all calmed me down with their jokes and telling me I would be fine.  When I came down the other side, I had them all jump on me and give me hugs.  I have never been that encouraged!  It was then I knew that my squad was AMAZING!

I was tried at my fear of heights one more time when I had to hike up an INSANE hill (with a log in our hands representing all our burdens that we haven’t let go of yet) but this time I prayed that God would help me along the way.  With each step I prayed for strength and courage.  God not only gave me those things but he also gave me the support of my squad!  Zack was behind me setting his feet up to be my foot holds most of the way up then when I was about 3/4ths of the way up, Benny V. came down and held my hand to lift me up.  I was so greatful that God had placed both these men to be my support.  Benny was then asked to continue on his journey by one of the staff and his answer to it was so profound.  He said, “This is part of my journey.  We all have burdens and it is hard to carry them on our own and so just as I need support to carry mine, others need the help as well.”  Isn’t it so true though?  As Christians we need to support eachother as we take our burdens to the cross!

We did some teambuilders to find out which team we would be placed on and the process was so successful!  I am so happy about where they placed me!  Our team had to go out and make a memory and we sure had fun!

Anyway, this is just a little tidbit of what all went down!  Haha!  It was AMAZING!
