Just days before leaving on the World Race (the 1st of January, to be exact), I flipped.  I was scared, nervous, confused... I didn't want to leave!  I was hoping I would be able to fly back home and just be with my family (because I was already in FL by this time).  And as I laid in bed that night, too worried to sleep, I opened my devotional and God had calmed me down with these following verses.

"Not that I have already obtained all this or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that whichChrist Jesus took hold of me.  Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.  But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.  I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."  Phil. 3:12-14

other verses are:
  • Phil 1:6
  • 1 Cor 9: 24 - 27
  • Heb 12: 1 - 2
I feel as though this is my prayer for the year: to finish the race, to press on, to see a change in me and so much more!

Please help keep me on the race.  Like I have said, I am not nervous about being sent home.  I just know that God wants to keep me on the race and to do a work in me, like no other.  But I need your support.  If God has lead you to support, please do.  If you are still unsure, pray about it.  God wants to keep me here but He also wants to use you to be a part of this.

I have $5,320 in my account to date and need $11,000 in my account by April 1st!!  That's only 4 days away!
