Hello all,

Last night I had my fundraiser dinner and it was AMAZING!!!

I came up with the idea from just talking with some of the kitchen staff one day at work and they wanted to help me make it a reality. I asked Ryan (the assistant head chef and friend of mine) if he would be my coordinator and he took the job with great joy! We finally got the okay to do the dinner with only a little over 2 weeks to let the word out! I scrambled around for those 2 weeks trying to get 50+ guest, write a speech and schedule how the night would run. The whole time I did not feel confident!
Well, around 25 people confirmed that they would come and I had many maybes! So, I was expecting 30+ people to show up. Only 17 showed but I kind of liked it because I was already nervous about talking in front of these people so the smaller crowd made it a bit easier. I ended up throwing the schedule and my speech out the window! I think it flowed pretty well, the way it ended up. When I went up to speak, I decided it was best to just be myself and let the words just flow!
The night was filled with YUMMY food, fellowship (including seeing some old faces) and prayer.
So… by the end of the night we raised (drum roll please) $745 PLUS $80/month in pledges!!!

This total brings me to $2770 and so I need to still raise $2830 to be caught up for this month! AND it is so close to December and by then I need a total of $6900!

And one week before I leave (December 28th) I need to be at $8,280 plus $920 a month in pledges! So I still need $840 in monthly pledges!

Please prayerfully consider supporting me and maybe even becoming a monthly supporter! Whatever God puts on your heart is an amazing amount you can contribute to The Kingdom!

Thank you and God bless!

Thank you to all those who came out and supported me, to those who helped with the set-up and clean-up and to those in between!  A special thank you to Ryan for being my coordinator, preparing an amazing meal, bringing me home and all the other stuff you did!  Boy, you did a lot and I couldn’t have done any of it without you!
